The Journeyer Flat Bar Acolyte 650b is dedicated to simplifying the gravel riding experience. Its aluminum frame and Fantail aluminum fork are crafted with an all-around gravel geometry, ensuring a comfortable riding position. The flat handlebar offers increased leverage and keeps you comfortably upright. On-bike cargo features include various mounts for bottles, accessories, front and rear racks, and Three-Pack fork mounts—providing ample storage for all your ride essentials. With 650b x 47 mm wheels and tires, the bike delivers cushioning and grip for a confident and comfortable ride. The MicroSHIFT Acolyte 1 x 8 drivetrain, known for its simplicity and reliability, completes this flat bar gravel bike, creating a versatile machine ready to explore new gravel routes or navigate urban landscapes.

FEATURES
6061-T6 Aluminum FrameÂ
We use alloy tubing developed specifically for the Journeyer frame, which is then heat-treated to T6 alloy standards for extra strength and durability.
Fantail Aluminum Fork
The Fantail Deluxe fork features aluminum alloy construction with a 12 x 100 mm thru-axle for a stiff, responsive ride. Load it up your way with two sets of Three-Pack mounts and mid-blade rack mounts. Fender mounts mean that wet roads will never ruin your ride. Fantail Deluxe’s massive 700c x 56 mm or 650b x 59 mm (27.5 x 2.3") tire clearance lets you choose the wheel and tire setup for your riding conditions.
Gravel Geometry
Journeyer is comfortable, stable and confidence inspiring whether it’s your daily driver, you’re ripping up dirt paths through town, exploring unfamiliar terrain, or entering your first gravel race. Spirited when you want it to be, but relaxed enough to leave you with the energy for long rides.
Internal Cable Routing
Full-length housing improves shifting performance in poor conditions and increases use time between maintenance intervals. Internal routing for a clean, uncluttered look.
Dropper Post Routing
Internal dropper post routing makes it easy to outfit your Journeyer for more technical riding.
Flat-Mount Brakes
Flat-mount brakes offer a clean look, easy setup, and compatibility with most of today’s road and gravel brake offerings.
Cargo Capability
Journeyer features front and rear rack mounts, a Three-Pack mount on each fork leg, a top tube mount, down tube mount, and bottle mounts. With this many options, you can load it up however you like.
700c x 38 mm Wheels and Tires
700c wheels hold their momentum well, and the 38 mm Teravail Washburn tires blend straight-line speed with confidence in turns on loose terrain.
Salsa Salt Flat Handlebar
Flat handlebars offer excellent leverage and control, especially when riding on surfaces that demand a little extra attention. Flat handlebars also put you in a comfortable upright position. Our Salt Flat handlebar has 11° back sweep, 6° of up sweep, and zero rise for performance that feels natural.
Dual Wheel Size Compatibility
Journeyer fits both 700c and 650b wheel sizes. We offer models in each size so you can choose the one that meets your needs or set up a second wheel set so your Journeyer is ready for any type of ride.
